Thomas Acuff is a member of the Gow & Partners World Team and is Managing Director of Acuff & Company.

Tom's international generalist executive search experience has enabled him to build a search practice without country boundaries or geographic limits. Using a client centric approach he advises management and recruits candidates within a broad range of the global 1000 companies. He has executed executive search assignments in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the United States and Asia Pacific.

He began his executive search career in 1992 with the Neumann Consulting Group (one of the largest search firms in Europe) where he became Managing Director responsible for the Brussels and Amsterdam offices and subsequently became Regional Managing Partner, Managing Director Group Shareholding Company, and Group Practice Leader Financial & Professional Services. In 2001 he was recruited by CDI Corporation as Vice President Global Talent Management International responsible for EMEA and Asia Pacific. In early 2004 he was appointed Executive Vice President Managing Director EMEA with one of the largest global executive search firms worldwide.

Before entering the executive search business, Tom Acuff's principal experience was in Europe and Asia Pacific and includes top-tier management with blue chip companies such as the General Electric Company and ITT Corporation (with headquarters based regional general management level responsibilities). He then served as European Vice President/Principal with a major US based investment banking/private equity group. He also held President/Director General/CEO positions with European companies and has served on the board of Directors of US, European and Japanese companies.

Tom Acuff is active in world class professional associations serving as president and director and is listed in Who's Who in the World. He served as a commanding officer in the Navy wherein he was awarded the "Honor Medal for High Example to Comrades in Arms" by the Citizen's Committee for the Army, Navy and Air Force. He maintains membership in Chateau St. Anne, Brussels and the Tanglin Club, Singapore. He has a BSc in Engineering followed by MBA studies.
