Nick Marlin is a Senior Search Consultant with Gow and Partners and has concentrated on searches in the Financial Services and Manufacturing and Distribution sectors.  Nick spent almost twenty years in Law Enforcement before entering the field of Human Resources/Recruitment, with six years managing Campus Recruiting for Mead Corporation, a $4B paper and school supply manufacturer, before leading North and South American recruiting for Gemini Consulting, a premier management consulting firm.

In 1996, Nick joined PaineWebber, a Financial Services firm headquartered in New York, where he centralized all Recruiting and Staffing for the Capital Markets, Brokerage and support staffs.  He was promoted to Senior Human Resources Generalist for Technology and Operations Divisions, while continuing to oversee recruitment for the entire firm.

After PaineWebber was acquired by UBS, Nick became a Senior Generalist and was responsible for overseeing the HR generalist Group which serviced the entire support staff of 3500 employees and 900 Global Infrastructure Technology professionals in the U.S.  He continued to oversee all recruiting for the firm.
