Murat Kaan Güneri is the Managing Partner and founder of MKG & Partners, a member firm of the Gow & Partners network, an internationally recognized executive search firm that provides retained executive search for executive positions in Information Technology across multiple industries.  Prior to establishing MKG & Partners he founded AMROP International Executive Search Turkey in 1996. He then joined Heidrick & Struggles and managed Technology Practice between 2000 and 2002. Güneri has gathered ten years of experience in different levels of the Human Resources arena. He commenced his early career in Iktisat Bank and continued at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). Güneri assumed the Human Resources and Organization Country Manager position as well has carrying responsibility for the Quality Management function.

These work experiences provided Güneri with substantial background in Information Technology. His extensive background in people assessment through behavioral and competency-based interviews, coupled with his experience in several international task forces related to competency based assessment, change management and learning solution warehouse, Güneri built a substantial network in the ICT field both in Turkey and internationally.

Murat Kaan's search practice focuses on serving clients in the knowledge based functions, companies and sectors. One-fourth of his portfolio is for general management positions; senior marketing officers are a secondary search priority. Recent clients include SBS, T-Systems, HP, Cisco Systems, Comsat International and a number of ISP’s and Telco companies, both international and domestic.
