Ted Price - Advisor

Ted Price’s main achievement as Managing Director at Lehman Brothers India has been the creation of a world-class financial service platform in Mumbai capable of huge expansion. Previously he was Managing Director, Director Global Corporate Security at Lehman Brothers from 2001 to 2005 and succeeded in creating and building a best of class global corporate security platform for a staff of 20,000.  Since December 2007, he has also held two advisory positions as Consultant for Lehman Brothers Inc. and as Advisor for Pegasus Capital Advisors.

After starting his career as a U.S. Marines-First Lieutenant, Ted Price was selected for the CIA Officer Training and Marine Officer Training Program. He was chosen as one of the youngest officers to enter a Chinese Language School for 20 months.  In 1964 he entered the Central Intelligence Agency and headed clandestine operations and covert action worldwide. His career in assignments abroad was spent overseas in 8 countries over 21 years as an operations officer and manager specializing in Asia.  He was promoted to Director of Personnel and then selected to establish and serve as the Chief of the Counterintelligence Center. Eventually he was promoted to Associate Deputy Director and then Deputy Director for Operations until 1995.

From 1995 to 2001, Ted was Senior Managing Director, Head of Crisis Management Group for The Kroll-O’Gara Company. He supervised 90 staff as a strategic partner of AIG for two bespoke insurance policy lines and managed a team of 12 former FBI agents after 9/11 providing crisis management services for Fortune 500 companies and European and Asian multinationals.

Ted Price is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Intellectual Property Law Institute, as well as a member of the Advisory Committee of The Kroll-O’Gara Company.  He holds a BA in History from Yale University.
