NEW YORK, NEW YORK, 15th January 2008 -- Gow & Partners, New York was responsible for the search and recruitment of William Feehan as Vice President & Head of Human Resources for the American Life Insurance Company of AIG, the world’s leading international insurance organization. 

In this role, Feehan will be responsible for all aspects of human resource management, including global compensation and benefits, talent management, recruitment and staffing, organizational development, education and training, employee relations and employee communications.  Bill will report to Joyce Phillips, President and Chief Operating Officer of ALICO and Peter Wright, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, AIG Worldwide Life.  Commenting on Feehan’s appointment, Roddy Gow of Gow & Partners, who led the search, said: “We are extremely pleased to continue working with AIG to attract the most exceptional talent for their global HR team.  It has been a pleasure working with Andy Kaslow to identify and attract such an experienced professional as Bill Feehan.”

Bill began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank, where he held numerous human resource positions in the U.S. and Europe before serving as Vice President of their New York Metropolitan Employment Division.  He became Group Vice President of Human Resources at Dunn & Bradstreet Corporation for five stand-alone businesses, including Nielson Media Research.  Bill joined Lehman Brothers as Senior Human Resources Executive for the Global Fixed Income business, responsible for designing and implementing their North American, European and Asian human resources strategies.  In 2001 Bill founded Feehan Barr Partners, a boutique executive search firm specializing in the development of global human resources teams.  Feehan Barr Partners was acquired by Christian & Timbers in September, 2005.  Bill holds a B.A. from Catholic University and an M.A. from Columbia University in Organizational Psychology.  He has been an adjunct professor at New York University and currently serves on the executive committee of the board of the 9/11 United Services Group.
