NEW YORK, NEW YORK, 25th January 2008 -- Gow & Partners, New York was responsible for the search and recruitment of Liz Flynn as Executive Director for the Global Transformation Initiatives Division of AIG, the world’s leading international insurance organization.

Flynn's first assignment will be to provide executive leadership to Project FiRE, the firm-wide effort to transform the financial reporting environment. She will report to Steven J. Bensinger, AIG’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Liz brings to AIG over 20 years of experience defining and implementing transformational change in complex global environments. As an Executive Vice President at JPMorgan Chase, Liz led the firm's efforts to merge with Bank One. Prior to that, as EVP and founder of the Corporate Business Services group, Liz was responsible for creating a new global shared services group to transform the cost and delivery of firm-wide support services. Other JPMorgan Chase roles included: leading Personal Banking, an integrated financial services platform targeting affluent customers; managing Finance, Strategic Planning, Marketing and Risk for the Consumer Credit businesses; and creating and implementing a prototype effort to turn around the Retail Banking Branches. Liz started her career at Chase leading a variety of units in Global Technology and Operations. Liz earned an MBA in Finance from New York University, and a BA in Mathematics from Providence College, where she has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since 2001.
