Hill Coates Associates, founded by Simon Hill in 2003, provides executive search and assessment support to the private equity community. Usual assignments include placing senior executives not only in private equity companies but also in the portfolio companies that they acquire or providing psychological assessment of existing directors prior to acquisition.

He is also Chairman of The Rifles Officers' London Club.
